10-foot Shark Nearly Bitten in Half by 20-foot Shark Posted: 1 month ago by bingo
A 10-foot Great White Shark had been hooked already by a baited drum line off the coast of Queensland, Australia when it was attacked and bitten by a much bigger fish. Based on the bite marks, the attacker is presumed to be a 20-foot long Great White shark.

What a picture!

*hums Jaws theme*

Just to give you an idea, that shark was verified at 7 metres (21 feet) long. It's possibly the largest great white ever caught, although reports on great whites are notoriously exaggerated. I'm guessing this shark in question, while most likely a great white, will turn out to be more in the 5-metre range.

Also,
Speculation is that this "Jaws"-sized shark has been lured to the area by [...] anti-shark netting surrounding the Queensland coast.
Oops.
