So celebrities and the like can request police escorts? What about us? Can we get a police escort to commute to work?

Fine, pass a law allowing the police to perform the escorts but at a rather high cost. Let them pay money for the police time and a substantial surcharge for road improvements and the like to make up for the hassle that the remaining 99.99999% of drivers have to endure.

To be fair, this bill is not really for the Packers but for all "celebrities, dignitaries and visiting sports teams".

I can't say I approve of it though. Why disrupt traffic in 2 counties when the visitors could stay IN Green Bay? Commuting from Appleton is pretty stupid.
