A giant statue of a Buddha has been discovered in central Afghanistan, near to the ruins of the world-famous Bamiyan Buddhas. Archaeologists say the 19m (62ft) statue is in a sleeping position and dates back to the Third Century. Other relics such as coins and ceramics were also found. picked by AutumnLotus 2 years ago

If a 62ft statue of a fat man could remain unnoticed in the caves of Afghanistan for hundreds of years, one might feel inclined to reassess the chances of finding a lean 6ft terrorist leader in those same caves. Just saying.

Perhaps... but the 62ft statue isn't constantly spouting hate rhetoric and trying to blow people up... you could call that keeping a low profile...
