Ya know...I was really starting to worry about the decline of America and how we seem to just breed "butt-holes" these days.

It's articles like this that remind me the whole WORLD is going to hell.

Actually, though news like this is absolutely terrible, I don't think it's something specific for the time we live in. There's just more media accessible to cover stuff like this. And maybe firearms are more easily accessible, but I'm not sure about that.
But a*****es like these guys have always existed, and probably always will.

True..but I also see more and more stupid and dispicable stuff happening right here in front of me in my own community.

I had a guy actualy stop his car and back up to my car after passing me because I gave him a nasty look and a "nice" as he went by... This after he did a 30mph hay-wagon turn in a busy parking lot that made me have to slam my brakes to avoid hitting him head on. Luckily I was only going 5 or 10 but still..it was close...he's drving like the idiot and gets called on it and yet he felt he had to try to degrade me with profanity, insults and threats of violence. I'm 6'2", 300+ lbs with over 11 years of martial arts training and it took all 11 years of it to not get out of my car and b*tch slap the punk. But I just let it go. And you just never know...maybe he's carrying a gun and is willing to use it over a stupid parking lot incident. So I let him make an ass of himself...and it ruined the rest of my weekend. The sadest part is he probably came away proud of himself and feeling fully justified.

I guess this is what happens when you live in a town bording the 21st most dangerous city in the nation (per capita). It's becoming incresingly more difficult to find a nice place to raise a family.

Anyway..from my story above you can see why this article hits home with me. And yes I know they "these guys" always existed, but you have to admit..they're getting deadlier and there really is more of them.
