I do not think the charges of attempted murder will stick.
It would mean that they attempted to kill someone, by going on a high speed chase. This I find a bit too farfetched. Criminals often flee, and do so in many dangerous fashions. But these things are done on the fly and without any direction. If they attempted to kill anyone, they would directed there actions against a person.

But then again, the article doesn't go into details on what happened during the chase.

I never tire of stupid criminal stories.

Makes me think that, for the handful of smart criminals, crime does pay.
