Jets
Falcons
Giants - I like my pot odds on this one ;-)

Edit: changed from Indy to NYG after IP fixed the line.

Lets see who has the stones to call the Giants-Cowboys game.

Pigs, did you get that one right? That's gotta be a typo. No way Indy is 7.5 underdog to the Titans? I'll wait til you confirm before I pick.

Nevermind. I'm not gonna go near that Indy game either way.

I'll take:

San Diego (Don't like Buffalo's defense's chances against LT or Brees)
Houston (Houston's better than their record and Oakland just blows.)
Carolina (Hunch combined with Philly hatred.)

And I'm not confident in a single game this week.

« iZ : Colts - what were they smoking when they made them an 8 point underdog to Tennessee?
Jets
Falcons

Sorry...that was my error...the colts are 7.5 point favorites....

(I double checked and that's my only error)

I'll go with

Kansas City (They should beat the Browns by at least 10.)
Seattle (If they can't rattle a rookie QB making his 1st start, then they don't deserve to even make the playoffs.)

and I'll even have the nerve to take

Dallas (Because I very seriously think Manning is throwing games just to get Coughlin thrown out of NY.)

Not me. I bleed Silver and Blue. I'm smart enough to know I can't look at a Dallas game objectively.

No kidding?? How could anyone jeopardize their own team, their own job and stats, and integrity like that?, even Eli Manning? lol but really?

I'll have my picks posted in the next day or two..I'm waiting for the right ambience, feng shui and all that. :D

Exactly. :D What a relief tho to see the Bears are favored this week, whew, I was sort of sweating it!

It's all about the Super Bowl ring.

Eli is notoriously selfish. This is the guy who absolutely refused to play for the team that drafted him. But he's a good enough QB that, even if he fell out of favor with Giants management, there are plenty of other teams willing to throw a few million bucks his way.

If Eli doesn't believe in Coughlin, there's no doubt in my mind that he would intentionally underperform until he got a coach who he thought could help him get that Super Bowl ring.

Eli wasn't th eone that didin't finish the tackle. Seriously, if Young had gone down after he was wrapped up - it would have been a different game.

I don't know anything about Coughlin at all, but if he's anything like John Shoop, the former Bear OC who I just heard yesterday was with Oakland! (that explains that/them!), I guess that is pretty logical on Manning's part. I hate to cut him any slack tho because of the draft thing, that has tainted my opinion of him forever.

I missed that game but know just what you mean..one play can swing the momentum for a team so much.

Basically, it was 3rd and long (or maybe even 4th) and Young was sacked. Or more accurately, Kiwanuka had Young wrapped up, and then decided to let go and walk away before bringing him down. Young proceeded to run 20 or so yards for the first down and ended up tying the game on the drive which should have been over with that tackle. Even my 6 year old son was yelling at him!
