I think not... there is nothing on his profile that will indicate that. I think he just got busy with his webcomic...

I remember a fight with DEP.

Mersh left the community.

NOT Every one wanted Mersh to go!...

DEP and Mersh ALWAYS had it in for each other... Opinions are like @ssholes, everyone has one and like wise they should be respected.

Many people though he was insightful and more mature than people twice his age. His discussions had merit and made sense.

How did I miss the Mersh suicide? I had wondered where he's been lately. So uh.. that clears that up.

Just to clarify, I threw back at Mersh what he threw at everyone else. He was always very harsh in that manner, and when he got it back he was so insulted and offended that he decided to leave over it.

Sorry he took it so hard, but it really was nothing more than what he had long been doing himself. It was very much intended as tongue in cheek before he over-reacted.

Other than the religious thing, I liked Mersh. He had good taste in music, art, and comicbooks. I just couldn't stand the "you're wrong, you're an idiot, you're wrong" comments that he threw around anytime the subject of religion was brought up.
